I am starting a new blog today. My reason for initiating this new online venture is because I want a place to process some growing thoughts in my head and heart regarding the condition of our world and the hope we have for a better future.

I have become increasingly unsettled over my the last decade or so with the idea that the world is bad and getting worse and that there is no hope for a better tomorrow or a brighter future. My discontent arises from a simple idea – Jesus changes lives. And if Jesus can change lives, then the world can be different and better.

This blog is my online journal of my thoughts, ideas, and struggles to see this simple idea become more than an idea. It is also meant to be a public forum for the exchange of ideas, dialogue, debate, hopefully progress toward becoming better people who contribute to making the world different and better. I hope that you’ll join the discussion, and more importantly that you’ll live for the cause!
