What the church must be comfortable with is becoming missional, always looking for the best way to reach the culture it lives in at that point in time. If anything, the church should err on the side of becoming futurists (rather than historians) in regard to culture.

Had a great discussion about identity tonight at group. We talked about who we are and what defines us. Thought I’d broaden the discussion here and ask you: What defines us? What should define us? And why does knowing who we are and being comfortable in our skin matter so much?
